HA NOI-SAPA-CAT CAT-BAC HA MARKET (start on Saturday)

Sapa is always an impressive destination in the list of Vietnamese and foreign tourists. Come to this tour, visitors will be able to visit Cat Cat village of H’Mong people and visit Fansipan mountain – the roof of Indochina.

Cat Cat village has both mountains and rapids. The most prominent is Silver Waterfall – the majestic waterfall located 15km away from Sapa Centre.

Bac Ha Market is held every Sunday and is the biggest minority peoples market in Northwest Vietnam. Alive with the bright colours and extravagant costumes of the local people, here you will meet Flower Hmong (Red Hmong), Black Dao, Tay, Nung, La Chi, Phu La and other minority groups who come from far and wide to buy and sell a wide variety of goods and livestock, to exchange news and to renew friendships. In the past the market was a centre for trading horses but now that motorbikes have replaced them it is more common to see buffalo, cows, goats, fish and other livestock being traded. The market opens at around 7.30am and closes mid-afternoon, so an early start is advisable.

ITINERATY

DAY 1: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT (Lunch – Dinner)

06.45 – 7.15: Pick up guest in Hanoi Old Quarter and depart to Sapa

On the way, you will admire the beauty of the northwestern mountains with terraced fields sparkling in the morning or dusk in the mist. You stop and rest for 30 minutes. After that, you will continue to depart for Sapa.

Cat Cat Village

12.30: Guide welcomes guests from the bus station to the hotel restaurant for lunch, check in, taking a rest.

14.30: Guide will take you to visit Cat Cat village – Hydroelectric Waterfall – Tien Sa Stream of Black Mong people (walking 3.5km). Go to the village, you take the time to freely take a picture of Waterfall, watch the performance Tay and Mong ethnic people, … After visiting, you return to the hotel.

Evening: Resting, free walking around Sapa town, shopping for souvenirs. Dinner at restaurant.

DAY 2: SAPA – BAC HA MARKET

7.30: After having breakfast at the hotel, the tour guide will pick you up and move to Bac Ha to join The Phien Market of the ethnic minorities in the Northwest. After 3 hours moving, you will be able to welcome at Bac Ha

After that, we participated in the biggest fair of the northern highlands with many famous specialties of the ethnic minorities here such as: corn wine, forest pepper, forest honey, Ganoderma, Brocade products … and experience the cultural environment of the people when participating in some fun games of the locals and enjoying the dish of Thang Co – the special dish of local people in the north highland…

Bac Ha Market is held on every Sunday

10.00: Go to the market, you rest, free shopping for brocades, souvenirs, Bac Ha specialties, chatting with indigenous peoples such as: H’Mong, Dzao, Tay, Nung, Saphó …, Guests are free to discover the unique features of the highland market, which sells local products. Visiting Bac Ha Buffalo Market, Horse Market.

12.00: Have lunch at Restaurant in Bac Ha Town. After lunch, you continue shopping.

15.00: Car takes you back to Lao Cai and get the sleeping bus to Hanoi. Take a break along the road and freely buy local specialties.

22.00: Arrive in Hanoi, end of the tour Bac Ha Market 2 days 1 night and see you in the next tour program.
